Ne vitin 2001 realizova filmin e shkurter me titullin TUNNEL. Ne vitin 2002 marr pjese ne seksionin competition ne Mediterranean Short Film Festival of Tangier ne Marocco
Kisha qene me pare ne vitin 2001 ne Cannes Film Festival por per here te pare pashe si funksionon nje festival i i vogel i filmit te shkurter. Ne ate kohe ishte e pamundur per nje qytetar shqiptar dhe per nje kineast te dilte neper bote per te ndjekur evente te tilla si nje festival filmi. Po vrisja mendjen si mund te influenconte tek kineastet tane mundesia e parjes se filmave qe realizoheshin ane mbane botes dhe sa lehtesisht e mundesonte kete nje festival. U miqesova me nje regjisor italian i cili gjithashtu kishte sjelle filmin e tij aty ne festival. Ai ishte nga Siena (Itali) dhe kur u kthye ne qytetin e tij e propozoi filmin tim ne Siena Film Festival te cilet e zgjodhen filmin Tunnel me kenaqesi.
Shkoj ne festival me Agron Domin me te cilin kisha ndertuar ne partneritet Fasada Studio prej disa vitesh. I them atij qe duhej te mbanim shenim te gjitha detajet qe sherbenin per te kuptuar strukturen dhe funksionimin e nje festivali. Isha i bindur qe duhej te krijonim nje festival te filmit te shkurter ne Shqiperi i cili do te krijonte klimen e munguar ne ambjentin e kineasteve shqiptare per tu informuar reth trendeve kinematografike qe qarkullonin ne vende te ndryshme.
Keshtu ne vitin 2003 lindi TIFF, Tirana International Film Festival.
Ishim te dy ortake me Agronin dhe komplimentare me njeri tjetrin, ai me i prirur te mbulonte anen financiare ne Fasada Studio dhe une qe mbuloja anen artistike.
U beme te dy drejtore te TIFF duke respektuar te njejtat impenime, ai mbulonte anen financiare dhe une ate artistike.
E drejtuam bashke festivalin deri ne edicionin e dyte ne vitin 2004, vit kur Fasada Studio u mbyll.
Raportet tona u perkeqesuan dhe rruget tona u ndane. Vendin e Agronit e zuri Genc Permeti. Ne vitin 2011 me ftesen time u Agron Domi u bashkua perseri me festivalin duke krijuar keshtu nje treshe drejtoresh se bashku. E kam drejtuar festivalin deri ne vitin 2013, bashke me Gencin dhe Agronin.
Kur fillova impenjimin tim si kryetar i Qendres Kombetare te Kinematografise (QKK) dhashe doreheqjen nga TIFF.
Agron Domi dhe Genc Permeti ishin dy drejtoret e TIFF per pak vite deri sa edhe Genc Permeti u largua.
Ndryshimet qe ndodhen ne TIFF sollen edhe largimin e gjithe atyre personave qe kishin punuar per festivalin me idealizem dhe shumicen e hereve te papaguar pasi ju gjenden tiff-it ne momentet me te veshtira kur nuk kishte asnje financim dhe detyroheshim ta vetefinanconim.
Ne faqen e re web te TIFF nen butonin Archive memorja e festivalit shkon deri tek viti 2020 duke harruar cdo gje te mire kemi bere per te ndertuar nje aktivitet te rendesishem per vendin. Gjithcka kishim krijuar u fshi dhe u harrua.

Dear Friends,
There are several reasons to give life to a festival, but I would like to limit myself in some of them;
First of all, took keep alive a 50 years old heritage in the Albanian cinematography. The history of the Albanian cinematography is relatively young and in its 60 years of life experienced such artistic zeniths to deserve the respect of the coming generations. During the so-called social realism several movies overcame the limits of propaganda constituting the basis of a new national culture.
Considering its complex nature, the Albanian cinematography integrated the best country achievements in literature, visual arts and other spiritual creations offering a consistent form of the historical, political, artistic and cultural national recognition.
The second reason to give life to the festival is the desire to bring the Albanian youth closer to the world of cinematography.
Albania belongs to the group of countries with a high percentage of young population. One of the missions of Tirana Film Festival is to bring the Albanian young people closer to the cinematography and the best Albanian and worldwide achievements. It is an obligation of the young generation took keep this little flame alive and to pay respect to the memory of the heritage of the cinematography.
To put Albania under the scene lights even for a week, this would be a major challenge, a supreme mission on itself for the organisation of Tirana International Film Festival. Our country victimised by the most spectacular forms of emigration, judged by superficial, manipulated and manipulative media, isolated in the most infamous and undignified way by the ones that reject us (the ones we love), this country organises one of the best festivals dedicated to the short film.
Being aware of the importance of a short film festival organised in one of the smallest countries in the world, a short film festival that through difficulties is trying to find its way towards the new Millennium it is an unquestionable testimony of noble human, spiritual dimensions, that at the same time show real dedication and professionalism to the seventh art.
The presence of idols of cinematography in our festival has an incredible effect and not a decorative one compared to the big festivals where the dimensions of show kill the human dimensions, where everybody is felt used walking over the red carpet, a product of consumption for the media hungry for VIP gossip, where so less is spoken on cinematography an art.
It is a pleasure to notice that somebody loves us, respects us and wants to be integrated with us. There are hundreds of authors from dozens of countries all around the would that submit their movies to Tirana International Film Festival, there are a lot of personalities that with generosity allow us to closely touch dimensions we dream long time ago.
It is very important for us to be loved, because we do love, it is very important for us to be respected, because we do respect, we want to be integrated because this is one of the things we do better. The festivals are the perfect arena where all I mentioned above can happen, we want to happen.
