BFM 2023 | 7-th EDITION
13-17 December Tirana, Albania
The 7th Balkan Film Market (BFM) will take place from December 13th to 17th, 2023, in Tirana, Albania. BFM 2023 aims to bring together audio-visual professionals from Balkan countries and across Europe, facilitating the exchange of stories, fostering pivotal relationships, and encouraging new collaborations.
BFM strives to become the scouting ground for up-and-coming local talent and innovative film projects. It is conceived as a unique pitching opportunity for upcoming projects, built upon three main pillars: Education, Development, and Collaboration. With an elaborate set of panels focusing on the latest developments in the film industry, complemented by several networking events, BFM opens numerous opportunities for filmmakers in the Balkan region to enhance their international presence and access the additional support.
The ultimate goal of BFM is to elevate overall regional cooperation with Europe to a whole new level by providing an optimal platform not only for local productions to connect and seek support but also for European producers looking for emerging local talent and innovative film projects that enriched our cultures.
As a unique industry event in these extraordinary times, BFM 2023 invites filmmakers and film institutions to promote and attract funding for their upcoming projects. It also offers opportunities to explore sales and distribution options by spotlighting untapped local opportunities. BFM remains committed to hosting and accommodating the guests who attend in person to engage in face-to-face professional exchange.
